Why do high-traffic floors need more frequent Sure Step treatments?

  • As mentioned on our Products & Services page, Sure Step creates a micro tread design into the surface of hard mineral floors in order to increase the dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF) of the surface.

  • Our Sure Step treatments come with a one-year warranty, and most treatments last well over one year.

  • High-traffic areas experience more wear and tear from foot traffic, equipment, and regular cleaning than normal-traffic areas.

  • As the treated surface experiences wear, the Sure Step treatment will eventually need to be repeated.

    • For example, a fast food restaurant with a busy kitchen, busy dining room, and daily (or more frequent) cleaning would be considered high-traffic.

    • Another example, a hotel breakfast area with a high number of guests per day plus regular cleaning would likely be considered high-traffic.

    • In general, areas that have a high amount of foot traffic, equipment traffic, and/or regular cleaning may be considered high-traffic.

What is the Annual Maintenance Program?

  • For our clients with high-traffic areas that are likely to need annual Sure Step treatments, we are pleased to offer an Annual Maintenance Program (AMP) that provides a 20% discount on annual treatments when committing to 5 consecutive annual treatments.

  • We offer 2 different options to suit your needs:

    • Option #1: If you already know and love Sure Step, you can sign up for the AMP before your first treatment to receive a 20% discount on your first treatment, and also on the next 4 annual treatments.

    • Option #2: If you are new to Sure Step, we would never ask you to commit to a 5-year term without first experiencing the amazing difference a Sure Step treatment makes. So for this option, you have up to one year from the date of your first treatment to decide if the Annual Maintenance Program is right for you. If you decide within that first year that you’d like to enroll in the AMP, you can sign up and receive a 25% discount on the next 4 consecutive annual treatments, which is exactly equal to the 20% discount on 5 treatments.

  • So either way, it’s the same amount of savings. With the Annual Maintenance Program, you effectively pay for 4 treatments and receive 5 treatments.
